Raring2go!
Raring2go! are a website service based around finding events and attractions for families. They also offer discount vouchers, guides and cooking recipies amongst much more. The Raring2go! franchise also is made up with over 60+ local Editors around the country producing magazines published specifically for their local areas.
The challenge was to develop a website to allow location based searches for events and attractions, users of the site would also be able to localise their site to the content created by their local editor.
During this project I developed:
- Postcode distance based searches for attractions.
- Content Management System (CMS), which included mutliple access tiers for 60+ editors, the Raring2go! office admin and also for Jumpstart Design for development purposes.
- Customer relationship management (CRM) system for managing Local Editors and Site Members, Listings, Events etc.
- AJAX based functionality for the frontpage, including content areas, event calenders, editor profiles and more.
